There are a few steelhead in the tidal portion of the Coquille River. Steelhead should be in the lower South Fork Coquille and the river should be fishable by the end of the week. The North Fork Coquille will be fishable before the weekend. Another option for bank anglers is to plunk with Spin-n-Glos near the town of Coquille early in the season.

Trout fishing in streams and rivers is closed until May 22.
