Expect snow for the weekend. The lake has no ice, but access is limited. Only usable boat ramp is near the dam. A small vessel and 4x4 is recommended. There should be some overwintering fish available. These fish are excellent table fare especially this time of year. However, numbers will probably be sparse as the last few years of extremely low water and warm summer temperatures have a put a hurt on the trout populations. ODFW did stock 40k legals back in the fall. No legal trout have been stocked this season yet. The lake is 11 percent full.
