We talked to ODFW this morning and they indicated that with the most recent snow access to both Twin Lakes is tough. It sounds like there are deep ruts in the snowy road and it's not recommended to try getting to the lakes unless you have a 4x4 vehicle with good clearance. If you can make it in, expect most action on balanced leeches and/or midges and chironomids under an indicator. Stripping streamers can be effective too but early season the fish are down a bit deeper so a full sinking line is a good idea. Springtime moving along will improve access and fishing and we’re excited to get out on the Twin Lakes this year.
