Winter steelhead fishing is winding down on the Alsea, there are still a few fish around to be caught but the season is almost done for the year. Steelhead fishing on the Alsea remains open through April and then closes on May 1.
Trout fishing in streams will reopen May 22, 2022.

Empire Lake Lower: Pound-size trout are scheduled to be stocked into Lower Empire Lake this week
Fish Lake : Expect snow but open water for the weekend
Galesville Reservoir: A recent report had anglers catching a ton of trout including some holdover trout from last May
Rogue River - Middle: With rain forecast all week, the river is expected to crest on Thursday but likely not as much as forecast
