Nacimiento remained at 27 percent of capacity, and anglers reported another great week of bass fishing. Anglers used finesse baits and reaction baits for good numbers of spotted bass. Green Pumpkin and Watermelon Senkos worked very well when fished weightless and wacky rigged. Brown, shad, and bluegill colors scored for anglers throwing drop shot, darter heads, and Ned rigs in 5 to 20 feet of water, and Keitechs worked well in shad colors while fished parallel to shore. Crankbaits got plenty of attention on flats and along bluff walls, and anglers also reported a decent topwater bite. White bass fishing has been good with anglers fooling fish with white spoons, inline spinners, and topwater lures. Catfish anglers used dip bait, nightcrawlers, and cut baits for bites.
