The Trask River spring Chinook are showing up. It’s early and fishing is still a little slow, but fishing is picking up both in the lower river (below the hatchery), and the tidewater. There have been fish caught at the hatchery hole and Loren’s drift, and there should be some fish in tidewater as flows have been good for upstream migration. Fishing should continue to improve throughout the month.
