Fishing was good fishing at Naci with spotted bass as the best bet. Topwater anglers reported a decent bite in the mornings, and anglers switched to darter head jigs, Senkos, and Neko rigs in the afternoons. Some of the bass have been feeding on shad schools in deeper water, and jigs or spoons were a good way to target them. White bass also fell for spoons, and they chased in-line spinners and small swimbaits as well. White bass fell for topwater lures when they pushed shad schools to the surface. Catfish ate cut mackerel, sardines and dip bait in deeper coves, and crappie took small live minnows in 10 to 15 feet of water.
