Fishing was fair for aqueduct anglers

Fishing was fair for aqueduct anglers with few reports because of the extreme heat. Striper and largemouth chased shad from before sunrise until a couple of hours after, and anglers targeted them with topwater and weightless flukes. Anglers also used flukes and tube baits on the bottom for bites. Striper ate cut baits and lugworms after check gates in the mornings and evenings. Catfish anglers soaked cut sardines, anchovies, chicken liver, and dip bait on the Carolina rig, and bass went for topwater, small plastics on the drop shot, and Senkos in slower moving water.
