The Nestucca is on the low side

The Nestucca is on the low side, but still has a touch of green and should fish throughout the week. Fishing has been slow, but there are hatchery fish and wild steelhead both throughout the system (catch-and-release only for wilds).

The upper Nestucca from Moon Creek to Elk Creek closed to steelhead fishing April 1 as did Beaver Creek in the Nestucca basin.
