Anglers report good fall fishing in the Crooked River. The Crooked should continue to fish well with warm temperatures forecasted.
Crooked River anglers may encounter bull trout now that there is volitional passage at Opal Springs. Anglers who catch a bull trout should release it unharmed and report their catch to the US Fish and Wildlife Service at crookedbulltrout@fws.gov.

Santiam River ( North Fork) Above Detroit Lake: The river level has increased from recent rains but should still be clear
Santiam River (South Fork): Currently flows are around 4,100 cfs at the Waterloo gage
Timber Linn Lake: Was stocked last week with around 1,000 hatchery trout
Waverly Lake: This lake was stocked last week with about 850 legal-size and larger trout
