Reservoir releases have dropped to their typical November levels. The release from Lost Creek Reservoir is in the 770 cfs vicinity. Dodge Bridge is around 1,140 cfs and flows should remain relatively steady through the weekend.

Chinook fishing is closed in the upper Rogue. Artificial flies and lures only between Fishers Ferry and Shady Cove boat ramp Nov. 1-Dec. 31.

Hatchery summer steelhead are available. A few new summer steelhead were collected at Cole Rivers Hatchery last week bringing the season total to 2,609.

A good push of coho have arrived at Cole Rivers Hatchery last week, bringing the season total to 266. Spinners can be very productive when river levels are low and clear. Only adipose-clipped coho may be harvested.

Trout fishing is also open in the Rogue with a daily bag limit of 5 adipose fin-clipped (hatchery) trout. Anglers are encouraged to harvest they hatchery trout.  Wild trout must be immediately released unharmed.

Anglers are asked to avoid wading and fishing near spawning spring Chinook salmon.

For up-to-date river levels, check all the USGS Rogue gauges here.
