With irrigation shut down and rains starting the river is on the rise. Current flow is 1,360 cfs and temperature in the mid-40s F.
Chinook are likely winding down for the year.
Coho should start pushing through the middle Rogue throughout November. Only adipose-clipped coho may be harvested.
Summer steelhead are available and anglers are having success both on fly and gear. Trout fishing is open with a 5 fish daily bag limit for adipose fin-clipped (hatchery) trout. Non-adipose fin-clipped trout must all be immediately released unharmed.
Current flow, temp and turbidity conditions for the Rogue can be found at the USGS stream gauges here, or checking the City of Grants Pass water page’s river data here.
