With fall coming on strong stream temperatures are dropping and this can be a great time to fish this river. Stripping weighted flies and hanging beadheads under a bobber typically catch the most fish. Hoppers can also be really exciting during this time of year.
Casting spinners across and downstream and slowly work them through deeper riffles and lower pools is also effective. Concentrate on pocket water and faster riffles as the temperature increases throughout the day.
