Lofton Reservoir Fishing Report

There were 50 trophy rainbow trout stocked recently so get out and try Lofton a couple more times before winter sets in. Trolling lures and flies are usually the best methods for this reservoir.

Bank anglers need to remember vegetation is very high due to the lower water this year so you’ll need to increase your leader from 2 to 8 or 10 feet long to avoid it. If bait fishing, try hiking around the northeastern portion of the reservoir to get away from pressured fish and vegetation.
